We recently used James to install chimney dampers and we were very pleased with his work, price and followup. James provided multiple options and we decided on the dampers as the best solution. I can’t say enough about James. He originally gave me a quote to repair the rear wall of my firebox, which needed approximately 6-8 fire bricks replaced. First of all, there was a mathematical error in their original estimate in my advantage. Once he caught the error, he was still willing to honor the original quote. After this was resolved, the work began… And boy was it work. Little did I know and CMD as well, that my fire box was a double width wall of fire brick grouted solid. James started at 10am on a Saturday and worked for seven straight hours, not taking a break, even for lunch. He was in for a long day chipping and drilling out the old fire brick in order to replace with new brick. James was patient, diligent and super professional. I’m a neat freak and he kept the mess to a minimum and isolated. His work was flawless and his attitude was even better. I highly recommend this company!!!!!

We had a leak in our fireplace and I had no clue who would be a “good” contractor to call to check things for us. He came out and looked things over and he explained that the twenty year siding the builder had put up on one side of the chimney was deteriorating and really needed to be replaced. He laid things out for us and was very accomodating. Bottom line, he was very professional and did the work in a timely manner and we are very, very pleased at the finished product.

He fixed the problem! I had a leak. No one else could help. He fixed it, no problems. Then, he cleaned my chimney at the same time. No mess at all. He was on time and very professional with very fair prices. I highly recommend him!

If you have a fireplace, you need James. My neighbor raved about him, so we had to find out for ourself. We were pleased with the neat job he did and feel good about safely using our fireplace.

We had a quote, from a competitor, to repair our chimney that was over $2000.00. The company had to schedule the repair three weeks out. James repaired our chimney, the week after receiving their quote, for only $700.00. He was on time and made the repairs in a timely fashion. I would certainly recommend him to anyone.

A week later he came back with a custom chimney cap for me and installed it and cleaned my chimney in no time and cleanly. I gave his cards to my neighbors that I could spot that did not have caps.
